Full spool (5m length) of PTFE Joint Sealant is made from 100% expanded PTFE. It is white with self-adhesive backing. It is marshmallow like with square or oval cross section. When compressed, the sealant forms a thin yet strong and durable gasket that is highly resistant to creep and cold flow. Installation is no longer a tough job, just peel off the adhesive backing, apply to the flange surface and overlap the ends. It is far more efficient than cutting from gasket sheets. It is suitable for all industries including the food and pharmaceutical industries.
PTFE Joint Sealant can be applied to the surface of the flanges easily even when the surface is not smooth. It minimizes the potential for leak and reduces the maintenance time, safety risks and the possibility of failure.
